2010: Scored 4 goals in 9 appearances in all-competitions. Scored in his first professional start (at Monterrey, CCL round 4 on 9/22) and recorded a brace against Marathon (9/29). Returned to full training on August 10 after being placed on the club's Disabled List (7/7) due to a right knee contusion suffered against Kansas City (4/17). His first goal was a game-winner in stoppage time vs. Kansas City (4/17). Made his MLS debut in season opener, playing 14 minutes as a reserve vs. Philadelphia (3/25).
2009: Placed on disabled list with sesamoiditis in right foot immediately after signing on 7/3. Did not see action in 2009 for Seattle. Played as a reserve in friendlies vs. Chelsea FC (7/18) and FC Barcelona (8/5).
Completed his four-year career ranked No. 4 at Harvard in both career goals (32) and assists (24). Started 51 of 69 games in career. As a senior was team captain and named to NSCAA All-America second team, NSCAA All-Northeast Region first team, All-Ivy League first team selection, and Academic All-Ivy. Led Harvard to second round of 2008 NCAA tournament. As a junior was named to NSCAA All-America second-team, NSCAA All-Northeast Region first team, first team All-Ivy League performer, Academic All-Ivy League, and Academic All-District first team. As a redshirt sophomore, earned NSCAA All-Northeast Region first team, All-Ivy League first team and named team MVP. As a freshman, was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year after scoring nine points on three goals and three assists during the season.
High School/Club
Team captain and led Brooks School to first undefeated/untied season in league history in 2003. New England Prep ‘A’ Champion, All-New England, All-State (Mass.) and All- League. Led league in assists and finished third in league scoring. Played club with FC Greater Boston Bolts, U-18 Region 1 Champions (2004). MVP of State Finals. Part of teams that won Region 1 Premier League Championship (2003), Disney Showcase Championship (2002, 2003), and Massachusetts state championship (2000-04).
Son of Bill Fucito and Susan Cook. One older brother, Scott. Psychology major at Harvard. Wrestled varsity for three seasons in high school and played junior varsity ice hockey. Avid golfer and enjoys snowboarding and crosswords.
